13. Laurence Fisburne And Gina Torres Are Actually Married
Laurence Fishburne is best known for his films roles in Apocalypse Now and as Morpheus in The Matrix Trilogy, but recently he's been spending a lot of time on the small screen. He spent a few years as part of the main ensemble in CSI before joining Hannibal as the FBI's Head Of Behavioural Sciences, Jack Crawford – which is to say, Will Graham's boss.
He's joined on-screen by Gina Torres, previously of Firefly and Bryan Fuller's Pushing Daisies, as his wife. They certainly have chemistry, and the reason they're so convincing as a married couple is only partially because of the pair's acting ability. There's also the fact that they're actually married in real life.
Torres and Fishburne met on the set of the two Matrix sequels, where the former played Cas, the widow of the Nebuchadnezzar's former pilot Dozer who makes brief appearances in Reloaded and Revolutions. She still has a minor role on Hannibal compared to her husband's, but they probably have a joint bank account, so it all works out.
