Fans are generally aware at the sly little nods The Walking Dead made to its fellow AMC ratings smash, Breaking Bad, from the cache of drugs Daryl finds that includes Walter White's blue meth to the car Glen uses in the first season also appearing in that other series about a violent white man taking charge. Not only is that car identical to the Dodge Charger Walt takes for a spin as he got into the money laundering business late on in Breaking Bad's run, he also makes reference to getting it off of a guy named Glen - showing the references went both ways. Then there's Daryl's chat with Beth about a drug dealer he and Merle knew before everthing went to pot, a janky white guy who used to threaten I'm gonna kill you, bitch.
