9. The Production Is Super Eco-Friendly
For a show that's so occupied with the world falling apart, the cast and crew of The Walking Dead are making an active attempt to try and keep it together. Producer Gale Anne Hurd presides over a bunch of initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impacts of film and television productions, including the show. Almost everyone involved in the production uses the Doodle app which makes the whole shebang practically paper-free, with the added bonus of making it almost impossible for scripts and call sheets to be leaked, short of people's phones or tablets being nicked. Hybrid cars are used whenever possible, water stations are available along with reusable bottles, the sets gets recycled...what a bunch of awesome tree-huggers.
