20. Charlie's Tattoo Is Another Oasis Reference
You'd have to have really missed a lot of the nineties to not realise Drive Shaft, the in-world band Charlie and his brother fronted, was riffing incredibly strongly off Oasis. His brother was even called Liam for goodness sake.
This comparison was something introduced to the show when Dominic Monaghan came on board; Charlie's age was cut by about twenty years and the band changed to fit that. Once the new character was born, the writers went all out in playing up the Oasis parallels. You All Everybody, the generically catchy song that played in the background of many a flashback, is a close match to their music, but there's one awesome detail that really stands out.
Charlie's tattoo (which is actually Monaghans in real life) says "Living is easy with eyes closed." A line from Strawberry Fields Forever, it seems Drive Shaft were just as Beatles obsessed as Oasis were.
