20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Never Knew About Lost

2. There's One Connection Everyone Missed

ABC

There'€™s so many connections through Lost, particularly in the early flashbacks. Practically proving the six degrees of separation, every survivor has some link to every other one long before they board Oceanic 815. Despite being background references, most were picked up pretty quickly by fans. Except for one.

Geoff Heise is a Hawaiian actor who has bit parts in all manner of American shows who accidentally ended up in Lost twice. Or was it intended?

When he turned up in White Rabbit playing the doctor who informs Jack of his father€™s death, many people missed that Heise had already been in the show already; he played a survivor in the opening crash scene of the pilot. Were these performances the same character? In the end, it doesn't really matter; Heise didn't appear in the series again, so we can assume he didn't survive that long in the wreckage. Still, it'€™s pretty amazing major fan circles didn't pick up on this. And you never know, if they had the writers may have given us some embellishment on the character.
