1. Josh Holloway Called Evangeline Lilly Freckles Off Screen Too
For all the hate the sci-fi inclined fans gave it, the central love triangle (which eventually became an unpredictable square) managed to keep us hooked, constantly uncertain if it'd be Skate and Jacket or Suliet and Jate. A lot of this comes down to Josh Holloway. Sawyer was one of the shows best characters; with a proper but believable arc, he was equally at home snarling and quipping as he was running through the jungle.
His banter with both Kate and Juliet made them both seem perfect for him and it seems not all of this was just on screen. When reading Sawyer would take to calling Kate Freckles (one of his many on-the-nose nicknames), Holloway loved it so much he adopted it in real life. What a charmer.
