9. The Rocky Theme Got Harrelson And McConaughey Pumped For Their Episode 6 Fight
With Marty and Rusts relationship reaching boiling point after Rust sleeps with Martys wife, episode six finds itself set for the inevitable violent showdown. On-set though, it was a different matter. So said Fukunaga: To inaugurate the scene, Matthew had a little surprise for Woody. When we got out and were going to rehearse on camera for everyone, he started playing the Rocky theme song on the loud speaker. And then they did... I don't even know how to describe it... a salsa or tango dance before fighting. That really released their tension. FYI, Harrelson and McConaughey did most of their own stunts here, with some of the punches apparently landing a little close for comfort.
