Twin Peaks was not without its celebrity admirers, with Quentin Tarantino a big fan at the time (despite also being amongst the booing crowds at Cannes when Fire Walk With Me premiered), and current TV darlings David Chase of The Sopranos and JJ Abrams of Lost, Alias, and some new fangled Star Wars flick fame also amongst those who count the series as an influence. But they pale in comparison to a couple that soundtrack composer Angelo Badalamenti met. Apparently impressed by his work on the show, former Beatle and current Kanye West session musician Paul McCartney invited Badalamenti to jam with him at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. Whilst he was there, McCartney said that he had recently performed a forty-minute set at Buckingham Palace for Queen Elizabeth IIs birthday. Except Her Majesty didn't bother sticking around to see Macca's performance, greeting him and then apologising for her sudden need to leave the room because it was five of eight and she had to go turn on the TV because Twin Peaks was about to start. So yes, no matter how big a Twin Peaks fan you are, you are not the Queen Of England. Unless you are reading this, ma'am, in which case: what's Daniel Craig like?
