20 Most Shocking TV Character Deaths EVER
2. Sarah Lynn - BoJack Horseman
From almost her very first scene, Sarah Lynn was BoJack Horseman's most tragic character. Funny and witty and full of brilliant one-liners, yes, but her chaotic lifestyle and unresolved trauma tinged her hilarity with a discomforting air of heartbreak whenever she turned up on-screen.
Formally BoJack's on-screen daughter during his acting days, Sarah Lynn idolised BoJack growing up, but never received the love and security she craved and needed, something that caused her to grow up bitter and addicted to drugs and alcohol.
In the season three episode "That's Too Much, Man!" though, it seems she's got her life in order. She's sober, living comfortably, popular but out of the spotlight. That is, until a depressed BoJack ropes her into a weeks-long drug binge, a misadventure culminating in her death after she takes some heroin.
Watching BoJack and Sarah Lynn sat in the local planetarium, listening to her plan her dream of becoming an architect before dying on BoJack's shoulder, is utterly soul-destroying, and is what eventually leads to BoJack's inevitable fall from grace years later.
