David Attenborough isn't just a national treasure in the UK; he's the national treasure. The man could narrate a series about filling in tax returns and somehow bring it to life, and his recent series like Planet Earth and Blue Planet have shattered expectations of what a nature documentary can achieve.

Now the BBC stalwart is making the move to Netflix, for the massive-sounding Our Planet. Produced by the same team behind those aforementioned projects, Our Planet will, in Attenborough's own words, showcase "the beauty and fragility of our natural world."

The show, which has been filmed over the last four years across 50 different countries, will have a strong message about climate change, but also seek to capture the sense of wonder that makes these documentaries such an incredible watch. With Attenborough onboard, combined with the kind of budget Netflix can give this, it should be a surefire winner.
