20 Things Only Twin Peaks Fans Will Understand

16. Julee Cruise

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srqIymNRVYc If you're reading this and have never seen Twin Peaks, there's a superb chance you have no idea who Julee Cruise is. A shame because her serene, enigmatic face and hypnotic, dreamy vocals aided in creating some of the show's most beautiful, terrible and iconic scenes. Performing five original songs as the recurring singer in the Roadhouse bar, she eventually released an entire album off of the back of the show's success, allowing people worldwide to become lost in the reverie of dream pop. Say what you will about Lynch, he has distinct and eye-opening taste in music and Cruise was a rare find.

15. Tibetan Method Has The Answer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DK4CD2BfA0g#t=358 It wasn't just the question of €œWho killed Laura Palmer?€ that captivated everyone for that first 8-episode run in Spring of 1990, it was the intriguing and often bizarre ways Cooper went about finding the answer. Forget your forensic scrubbing and money trails, Cooper's methods of finding the killer involved throwing rocks at a glass bottle, activating €œthe deepest levels of intuition.€ It was quirky, it was unique, it was somewhat ridiculous... but every viewer that's ever seen that scene was hanging upon every second until the bottle lay in pieces at the end. Only adding to its mystique was that MacLachlan managed to smash the bottle on his first throw, come Leo Johnson's name being read out- causing Kimmy Robertson, who plays Lucy, to genuinely gasp in joy. Lynch was so charmed by the moment, he left Robertson's gasp in.

Betting on being a brilliant brother to Bodhi since 2008 (-1 Asian Handicap). Find me @LiamJJohnson on Twitter where you might find some wonderful pearls of wisdom in a stout cocktail of profanity, football discussion and general musings. Or you might not. Depends how red my eyes are.
