20 Things You Totally Missed In The Walking Dead

18. Andrew Lincoln Cameos Using His Real Accent

In the season five gem What Happened and What's Going On, Rick, Glenn (Steven Yeun), Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Tyreese (Chad Coleman) journey with newcomer Noah (James Tyler Williams) to his old neighbourhood to see if his family are still alive.

Once they arrive at the doomed community, Tyreese finds himself bitten and hallucinating as he begins to succumb to the infection.

As he drifts between dream-states, a radio broadcaster can be heard in the background, reporting the news of violence and horror.

As revealed in an episode of Talking Dead, the broadcaster was portrayed by Andrew Lincoln using his own accent. Originally from London, the actor is unrecognisable and far removed from his usual southern drawl. It's a fun addition to an otherwise haunting episode.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
