16. Kenneth (30 Rock)
Kenneth Parcell, the wide-eyed hick page working at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York, in a consistent source of naive entertainment. Born in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Kenneth takes his southern hospitable charm to the Big Apple, thrust into the world of television he loves so much. Continually confronted with the dramatic misgivings by the show's stars Jenna and Tracy, Kenneth is often exploited due to his innate kindness. But underneath the niceties lies a darkness in Kenneth not exposed in the remainder of the cast. In a particularly memorable episode, Kenneth is thrust into a drinking contest with the teamsters, finding himself a natural after discovering that the alcoholic beverages he'd previously assumed were inherently evil is simply what his family calls "hill people milk," a drink he's enjoyed his entire life. And not only mysterious due to the nature of his absurd religious affiliations, Kenneth is also enigmatic in that he may in fact be considerably older than he lets on. In fact, it's possible that he is a veteran of the Second World War. Having recently wound done, Kenneth would be a perfect opportunity for NBC to make a good programming decision in continuing with the life of this character, a man out of place in the big city.
