21 Problems Only Friends Fans Will Understand

2. Suffering Talk Of A Reunion

NBC

It seems that ever since The Last One aired, way back on 6 May 2004, rumours have swirled of doing a movie. They were particularly strong in 2008, when the Sex and the City movie was released and become a box-office hit, with speculation that would cause Friends to make a film version. Those rumours have never fully went away, appearing every couple of years, and the possibility of a reunion is something that the cast and crew are constantly getting asked about.

Co-creator Marta Kauffman poured ice cold water on the idea in 2013, saying: "Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there's no need anymore. I'd rather people go, 'Oh, please! Please!' than 'I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.'" While there's always going to be that temptation, and a small part of you wondering what does happen next, the way Friends ended was as near to perfect as you can get, and there is absolutely no need to risk that by doing any sort of reunion show or movie.
