21 Problems Only Friends Fans Will Understand
1. Watching Endless Repeats
No new episodes. No movie. No show that can fully fill the void left by it. There's only one thing to do: watch episodes of Friends, ones you've seen countless times, over and over and over again. Even in the latest season of True Detective, Chad - the son of Colin Farrell's character - noted: "We could watch Friends. It's always on." It was probably the wisest thing said in the entirety of the season.
No matter where you live, or what time of day it is, chances are you can find Friends. It's constantly on Comedy Central in the UK, while since New Year's Day 2015 it's been on Netflix in the USA, leading to even more epic binge-sessions of the show (yes, Netflix, of course we're still watching, don't make us get up...). Sure, you could watch that movie that's supposed to be really good, or make a start on that acclaimed series everyone's always going on about. But that requires taking a risk, and effort.
Friends is the comfort blanket of TV shows. No matter how you're feeling, what mood you're in, what you're doing, or who you're with, it is always great to watch. Friends is, and always will be, there for you.
