Yes, Father Dougal McGuire himself has been in Doctor Who! The comedian guest starred in Series 3's Gridlock as Thomas Brannigan but don't worry if you didn't recognise him because he spent the entire episode in the disguise of a human, talking cat. His recognisable Irish brogue should've been a surefire giveaway, though, and if you don't know him from Father Ted then you'll probably remember him from another sitcom, My Hero, in which he played Thermoman, an alien from outer space who attempts to fit in on planet Earth by masquerading as an "ordinary" human. Sound familiar? John Smith, eat your heart out...
