Followers of ITV's long running soap opera Coronation Street will recognise Oliver Mellor as Dr Matt Carter but to Doctor Who fans he will always be that guy who worked at Torchwood who got killed by the Cybermen that one time. The actor guest starred, but didn't make it out alive (narratively speaking!), as technician Matt Crane in part one of the Series 2 finale, Army of Ghosts, and he also appeared in the 2006 Big Finish adventure No Man's Land as Private Taylor.
