3. Kim Bauer

During the opening moments of the final season, Jack Bauer was reunited and living with his daughter and her family in New York City and actually talked about moving back to Los Angeles with them. For the first time in 15 years (taken from the math earlier), he was actually happy with his life. By the end of the day, however, he was on the run from two world superpowers and had left a video message for Kim telling her that they would never see each other again. Four years later, however, it's a safe bet that by day's end the CIA will have hunted down Jack and that Kim will know that her long lost father is hiding out in London. Executive producer Evan Katz has said that Kim may have a place in the storyline towards the very end, but the details are still being worked out and Elisha Cuthbert has yet to sign on to reprise her role as Kim. Kim was never my favorite character, but in a revival it seems foolish to not include her when she's been there from the very start.
