2. Tony Scott Was In Talks To Direct Live Another Day & The 24 Movie Before His Death
When the 24 movie was in active development and almost actually got made, Tony Scott had been in talks to direct it, and had apparently also been approached to helm some if not all of the London-set Live Another Day half-series event. Sadly, Scott's suicide in the summer of 2012 put the kibosh on those plans, though given that the 24 movie is still very much up in the air, there's a good chance he wouldn't have been available or willing to wait this long anyway were he still alive. Still, his frenetic, visually appealing style would've fit the 24 mold perfectly, so it's a shame.
