25 Best Sons Of Anarchy Deaths

19. Galen O'Shay

After being introduced in the show's fourth season, the Irish King would go on to become a difficult pain in the ass time and again for Jax and the club. Though loyal to Clay, his hatred of Jax, which burned even brighter once Jax became club president, caused him to bring conflict to every situation, whether it was in dealing with Galindo or the Italians or ruining the club's relationship with Lin and the Triads. Even beyond that, Galen's passionate loathing for Jax went on to get Filthy Phil and V-Lin murdered and the clubhouse destroyed before Jax was finally able to bring Galen down. Near the end of the show's sixth season, the club succeeded in breaking Clay out of a prison transport, bringing him to an airstrip to accompany Galen and his men to Belfast. Fortunately, in one of the show's classic twists, Jax shot Galen in the head while the club took out the rest of his men, setting Clay up in his own death to make it seem like the two had fallen into a deadly argument. Though Clay's death was easily the more important moment in the situation, Galen's death meant viewers could breathe a huge sigh of relief that the smug brute was finally gone.
