25 New And Returning TV Shows To Watch This Summer

Hannibal is definitely NBC's best show, and one of the best shows on television period. The series started as kind of a traditional, serialised FBI show, but it slowly grew into something much more interesting than that. Mads Mikkelsen delivers one of the most brilliant television performances as Hannibal, actually giving Anthony Hopkins a run for his money. And let's not forget Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, with Dancy portraying a man spiralling out of control in such a convincing way.

The show is well written, the cinematography is gorgeous, and it's not afraid to be gruesome and terrifying with some true nightmare fuel. With American Horror Story being as goofy as it is, Hannibal is for sure the best horror show on the air right now. 

Season 2 ended with an insane, bloody finale, leaving it completely up in the air who would live and who would die (although if you read casting news, you probably know that by now). It's been a long wait since that episode last May, but the show is finally back in just one more week.
