3 Reasons Why The MC Chris Cartoon Needs To Be Picked Up

1. The Fans Want It

http://youtu.be/lgxCBp0WTyk Last but not least, and perhaps the most important reason the MC Chris Cartoon should be on the air, like tomorrow is the fans want it. This is evident by the fact that they've paid for it, or rather six minutes of it. You see in order to pitch a cartoon one often needs something for studio big wigs to look at and get a feel for what exactly the show will be. Normally this little peak is animated, and that costs serious cash money, so MC Chris turned to his fans for a helping hand. Using crowd funding site Kickstarter MC Chris asked his minions€uh fans to reach deep and give a measly 55,000 bucks. A goal he not only reached but exceeded, walking away with roughly 71,856 (minus whatever Kickstarter takes out for their percent.) That€™s no chump change that€™s all hard earned money from people who believed in MC Chris€™s vision, and more than anything believed it was something they€™d enjoy watching. 1,183 people stepped up to the plate donating sums ranging from fifteen dollars to five-thousand smackaroos. And all that money went to Titmouse Inc. (Metalocalypse) to produce a six minute taste for networks. Though it seems the networks aren't all that interested in what the fans want and as of April first MC Chris announced on his Facebook that the network he was in talks with passed on the show. He went on to state that Titmouse Inc. still supports the project and they€™re planning on pitching it again. Hopefully the networks take notice and realize that not only is it a cool idea, packed with killer music, but it is clearly something people want to see. And in case for some reason you still need convincing check out the six minutes of fan funded animation.
