3 Ups & 3 Downs From Star Wars: Clone Wars 7.5 - Gone With A Trace

1. Up - Binary Loadlifter Rampage

Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 5
Lucasfilm

Towards the end of the episode, the binary loadlifter droid Rafa and Trace have been commissioned to repair starts attacking them. Ashoka then remembers that these specific droids were frauds, never intended to lift loads, but instead were just repurposed demolition droids meant to destroy. The droid then runs off to Coruscant City, with Ashoka and Trace running after it, desperately trying to stop it.

The chase is the absolute high point of the episode. Watching Ashoka and Trace try to apprehend the droid as it runs through the city and climbs up buildings King Kong style is immensely fun. If the episode had this kind of energy throughout its entire runtime, it would have been one of the best of the season.
