A Walking Dead alumni who also appeared on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as two separate characters, Jeff Kober appeared on The X-Files in the first season episode Ice - something of a homage to the John Carpenter classic The Thing. The episode centres around an arctic research station where workers discover a parasitic organism deep in an ice core sample, which eventually infects the researchers and causes them to act in violent, unpredictable fashion. As Bear, the pilot who brings Mulder and Scully in to investigate, Kober plays the tough guy who wants no part of being trapped (and quarantined) in the remote base, and it's no surprise after seeing that performance that his career is still going strong today.
