It may not get the hype of shows like Stranger Things or Daredevil, nor the awards attention of, say, The Crown, but BoJack Horseman is Netflix's best original series.

After four seasons the show has proved itself as one of the smartest, funniest, weirdest, and deepest on television, deftly handling difficult subjects and blending them with humour, absurdity, and lots of emotion.

Season 5, which should arrive later this year, is likely to carry that on, while paying off on the added character development in Season 4. It's not just about BoJack, but there are big questions to answer about other characters too, and the show is likely to continue making bold decisions that pay off big time.
