31 Hottest New TV Shows Currently In Production

10. Constantine (2014)

After the wayward, somewhat misguided attempt to bring the Alan Moore's fan-favourite Hellblazer to screen erupted in a shower of silliness and bad direction, it seemed like the irresistibly adaptable supernatural comic book property was destined for the "what could have been" pile. And though it's taken some time, the Liverpudlian exorcist has his second big chance with NBC's small screen adaptation. We can expect demons, possessions, exorcisms and a witty, off-kilter look at a supernatural world beyond the fringes of human sight through the eyes of a snarky, attitude-laden magician looking for a chance to save his soul. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPE2oBnzROY The Selling Point: As a character, there are few more intriguing prospects than Constantine, and it looks like the show is keeping closer to Moore's original vision for the character, with a regional tone thrown in as a nod to his Liverpool roots. The Concerns: The comparatively limited TV budget will probably not lend itself to epic hell-bound sequences, but then hopefully that will only mean smarter film-making.
