After the wayward, somewhat misguided attempt to bring the Alan Moore's fan-favourite Hellblazer to screen erupted in a shower of silliness and bad direction, it seemed like the irresistibly adaptable supernatural comic book property was destined for the "what could have been" pile. And though it's taken some time, the Liverpudlian exorcist has his second big chance with NBC's small screen adaptation.
