30 WTF Moments From Arrow's Season 4 Premiere

1. Who’s Dead?!

Whilst the tease of Hal Jordan may have got comic book fans squealing in excitement and the reveal of Captain Lance working with Damien Darhk may have been a jaw-dropper, the biggest WTF moment of Green Arrow was that ending.

Similar to how the opening episode of the last season saw Sara Lance offed, the Season 4 premiere also saw death rear its ugly head once more. The big question, though, is just who exactly will bite the bullet.

All we know is that we were sped forward 6 months and to the sight of a tearful Oliver at a grave.

Could it be that his proposal to Felicity isn’t going to get a happy-ever-after? Could it be that Diggle was lost in battle before he and Ollie could make up? Could it be that Thea went completely off the rails? Could it be that Laurel’s lack of ability as Black Canary finally ended in the worst possible way? Or could there be another option.

Whoever it is, it’s certainly somebody close to Oliver. Logic would dictate that the death of Felicity or Thea would be the hardest hitting for Ollie, with Diggle’s demise just behind on the pecking order. And then there’s Laurel.

Green Arrow's closing moments certainly left jaws agape and tongues a-wagging.
