35 Moments That Blew Attack On Titan Fan's Minds

As we've mentioned before in this list, when it comes to rousing speeches and motivating the soldiers in the Survey Corps, everyone would fail in comparison to Commander Erwin Smith.

There have been plenty of moments where he's shown how much of an incredible leader he is, but this truly is the moment that defines him as a character. With his soldiers all but facing certain doom due to \ barrage of boulders thrown by the Beast Titan, it would seem that all was finally lost.

However, Erwin is able to rally them with the most epic speech you'll hear in any anime. Although we've given plenty of praise to the writing on the show, the voice actors for both the English Dub (yes, that's right, even the English Dub) and Japanese original deserve credit too.

J. Michael Tatum and Daisuke Ono do an incredible job of making the audience believe that Erwin is such a respected figure, that he's able to convince these scared senseless troops into giving their lives away to try and defeat the Beast Titan.

Let's be honest, after this speech, you'd probably be willing to run into an incoming pile of rocks for Erwin too.
