The first "proper" massacre in season 2 of Fargo takes place amongst the snow-laden trees of the Minnesota countryside, as Kansas City middlemen discuss politics with a corrupt local official. In a moment, the hunters become the hunted, as gangs of Gerhardt's men swarm through the woods spraying bullets in all directions. It's a wonderfully staged scene which marks the real beginnings of the war between the Gerhardts and the Kansas City mob.
