Fargo's drama often revolves around the stupid actions taken by its characters - those moments of poor decision making which have dreadful ramifications. With this in mind a special award for stupidity goes to the biggest idiot in the program, state police Captain Cheney. After dragging the Blumquists to the motel as bait and instructing his officers to go plain clothed, he then orders radio silence and turns them into sitting ducks. Captain Cheney, WTF were you thinking?
