Seriously, doesn't it just make sense? House's constant genius is entirely unaffected by the amount of Vicodin he pops, to the point where it seems like he is actually a better Dr on it. Clearly he's fuelled by Vicodin and his brain is a giant Disease based database. In fact its probably part of his coding to get three wrong guesses that make the patient worse, to the point of near death, only to save him, thus looking even more heroic. Bonus points if the Season ended on a massive Prometheus tie-in, with House revealed to be a prototype for Michael Fassbender's David.
