37. First Mention Of Regeneration
When Jon Pertwee moved aside to let Tom Baker take the titular role, it was the first time in the show's history that the process was directly referred to as "regeneration". The first time was called a "renewal" while the second had been a "change of appearance". The term "regeneration" has stuck ever since.
