5 Best Love, Death And Robots Episodes
3. Good Hunting
Pencil cartoon style animation is used regularly throughout Love, Death and Robots but in an overall sense, 'Good Hunting' is the strongest episode with this approach. The story line follows the modernisation of China and Hong Kong, as it moves from humble farming days into an age of steampunk, trains and mechanics.
A gifted mechanic who is the son of a monster slayer helps his friend, a mystical shape shifting creature turned lady of the night, to claim vengeance on her enemies after she is exploited by a client. The fumes and pollution cause the mechanics friend to lose her shape shifting powers, but with the genius mind and aid of her friend, he is able to use his mechanical knowledge to return her to the hunt.
The animation, detail, story line and character intricacy of this episode is phenomenal, which all comes to a head as a brilliant tail of karma and revenge.
