Question Mark Finally, if Saturday night TV is to be truly saved, then something completely new has to be invented. And because it will be something new, I can't think of it and therefore can't write about it. But seriously, the simple correlation between the above ideas is that we need more variation in programme type. Once you offer people with different interests a more unpredictable Saturday evening on the sofa, then you'll keep them there. Let's hope we can all rejoice in some new programmes in the coming years which we all adore, and not because they have a celebrity in them.
