5 Changes Glee Should Make

2. More Graduates, please!

glee.S.3.finale (1) Quinn, Mercedes and Puck were treated horribly in Season Three, by the writers, and they haven€™t yet been reimbursed. For example, what the hell is Santana doing? She€™s spent the first half of the season hanging around McKinley so unrealistically (loved Sue€™s crack about the Graduates using teleporters in Diva) only to quit college in Kentucky and (finally) head to NYC. I really wish they€™d reinstated The Troubletones (perhaps renamed), maybe with Quinn, Santana and Brittany (The Unholy Trinity?), and had them audition for an X-Factor type talent show. It would keep the performance / competition aspect to the show and would give the trio a valid storyline. The show would most likely be based in LA, were we could see a bit more of Puck€™s and Mercedes€™ lives. Mercedes would be at UCLA and her backing singer job and Puck could join a band, performing around LA, perhaps with Mercedes joining it later. I love their voices together! Obviously we can€™t follow all the seniors equally but I€™d much prefer missing New York / NYADA every other week for a bit of LA sun! I think the high school / college split is, ultimately, dragging the NYADA stuff back down to high school drama. Like in Diva recently, for example, the €˜Rachel being a diva€™ plot? Seriously, again? Hasn€™t this been done to death? See, this is an opportunity where we could have seen a Mercedes storyline in LA (the ultimate diva of the show) and developed her character, rather than bringing Rachel back to her Season Two personality.
