5 Characters That Prove Game Of Thrones Is A Feminist Show

1. Daenerys Targaryen

Game Of Thrones Daenerys Boat You had most likely all guessed that this was coming. Hands down, the best character in the show. Her arc throughout the three series so far has been the most epic of any character. When we met her at the beginning of series one she was a frightened girl who was used and abused by those around her. But her progression to the badass Queen who freed the slaves of Yunkai and Astapor in series three has been amazing to watch and has surely made her an icon to feminists. The way she has broken the chains of living in what is essentially a man's world to become the powerhouse she now is, clearly sets her out as number one on this list. Emilia Clarke's portrayal of Daenerys is simply fantastic and perfectly captures the strength of the woman inside the Queen. So there you have it, my top five characters that prove that Game of Thrones is a feminist show. Hopefully, I have convinced you. There are loads of great characters on the show so if you have any other suggestions then leave a comment!
