5 Imaginatively Silly Doctor Who Settings
With the fiftieth anniversary of Doctor Who just around the corner, Whovians across the globe are bubbling over with anticipation for the shocks, surprises and secrets which Moffat is set to reveal in the 75 minute spectacular. However, one thing that has created chatter amongst fans in the lead-up to the Day of the Doctor is the setting of the episode. Where will the Doctor's special day play out? Doctor Who is known for sometimes being outlandish, playful and imaginative with its plotlines, characters and settings (talking cats, giant disembodied heads, a blubbery green Abzorbaloff and people without faces to name a few) so here are some jokingly over-the-top ideas. Read on for five rather silly imagined worlds which would make interesting or hilarious (but perhaps not altogether realistic or viable) settings for future episodes.
