5 Most Unlikeable Lead Characters In A Sitcom

4. The Entire Cast Of The Inbetweeners USA

inb Now, I am going to try and make this as unbiased as possible, because like many avid fans of The Inbetweeners, I thought The Inbetweeners USA was an absolute train wreck. Apparently, so did everyone in America as it received horrible ratings and was cancelled after one season. But it€™s not just because it remains unfaithful to the UK version, which is superior in every way. The characters are horribly cast. Will comes off as incredibly pretentious, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. You can€™t understand why anyone would like him in the first place. Jay is just... no. The actor playing him hasn€™t got any comedic timing or finesse, so all his intended jokes fall flat and you want him to go back and watch the DVD so he can learn how to play his character well. Neil barely features at all, but whenever he does, he€™s not even funny. Anyone can play the dumb character; it takes some skill to play it well. Simon doesn€™t really do anything, and because Will and Jay are overly irritable, you tend to forget he€™s even around. The show, in the eyes of every UK fan, was always bound to fail. But the end result was more than shocking, and it couldn€™t resonate with any audience. And good riddance to it.
