5 Mundane Objects Breaking Bad Changed Forever

3. Flies

Breaking Bad Rom Com Elite Daily 600x300 I love it when a TV series tries something different and Series 3 Episode 10 of Breaking Bad did just that. With just two characters, the entire episode took place in Gus's high-tech Meth lab as a manic Walt and a reluctant Jesse tried to thwart a fly from contaminating their cook. Although it probably wasn't to everyone's tastes, I believe 'Fly' was an elegant and beautiful episode of the series that focused on the relationship between Walt and Jesse. It really added to the sense that the two were bonding, and that Walt was becoming a father figure to Jesse. Looking back, this episode is almost bittersweet in the ways that it represents the bond between them. Because it was a bond that was inevitably going to be broken. And if nothing else, 'Fly' was a fun episode to see Bryan Cranston play Tom and Jerry with an insect.
