5 Mundane Objects Breaking Bad Changed Forever

2. Fruit Loops

Yeah I couldn't get a picture of the Fruit Loops thing. But it was an incredibly subtle bit of Breaking Bad writing that actually means a hell of a lot. At least I interpreted it that way. You see, it seems that Walter White, the depraved, manipulative, maniacal sociopath, likes the odd hit of the ol' Fruit Loops, the everyday goodtime breakfast cereal. It was pretty much a throwaway line in the latest episode 'TO'HAJIILEE' where Walter paid a visit to his favourite child, Brock (who he poisoned and put in the hospital to manipulate Jesse), but it was also a line that served to remind us that Breaking Bad is set in the real world. Good is real. Evil is real. And goshdarnit Fruit Loops are real. And I would love to see the day where I walk walk into a shop and see Fruit Loops 'Publicly Endorsed By Walter White'
