5 Power Ranger Rip-Offs You Probably Forgot

1. Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills (1994-1995)

Teenage Tattooed When the evil Emporer Gorganus sets out to conquer Earth, an alien brain named Nimbar recruits four teenagers from Beverly Hills to fight Gorganus by harnessing the power of the constellations. Together, the teens become superpowered Galactic Sentinels and fight Gorganus's army of monsters in order to protect the Power Portals, which could give the Emperor the ability to control the galaxy. Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills is probably the most blatant Power Rangers rip-off ever. There are only four teens instead of five, they have powers based on constellations instead of dinosaurs and they don't have zords. But everything else screams Power Rangers. Even when they grow to the same size as the monsters, they can still combine into a super fighter named Knightron. Their costumes are color coordinated, and they also have a mentor that is very much like Zordon. And the rules that Nimbar gives them about keeping their identities secret and never escalating a fight are exactly the same as what Jason and company are told by Zordon in the first episode of MMPR. But the thing that really hurt the show is the extremely low budget. It is the worst looking show on this list and looks like each episode was filmed in an hour for a couple hundred bucks. It has never been released on DVD, but you can watch it on YouTube. Although, I don't know why you'd want to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmhRKU5zBS8 Did you watch any of these impostors?
