5 Predictions For Friends Series 5

1. Ross-Rachel Rekindled for The 100th Episode

rossrachel (2) I€™m sure many of you will have realised that the 100th Episode of Friends will be shown very early in Season Five, most likely the third or fourth episode, depending on the number of episodes that Season Four will finish with. However, if there is perhaps even one extra episode at the end of Season Four, that would suggest to me the perfect opportunity to open Season Five with the hundredth episode, ergo - the perfect reunion for Ross and Rachel, the staple couple of the entire show. Whether it be abroad, as I have already mentioned, or simply whilst sitting in Central Perk, it won't matter, it's time! Come on already, we're had almost two seasons of them being mad at each other, just seal the deal. Frankly, the playground, on-off routine is wearing thin, four years in, and becoming somewhat tiresome. I truly believe this will become more evident from here on in, and the writers, if they are smart, will want to rectify it as soon as possible. They can still have problems as a couple (dealing with Emily and Joshua, for example). In fact, whilst they were a together, there was very little friction between them. Well, nothing of any real substance, anyway. Perhaps Season Five will give the writers the opportunity to showcase a more flawed, and realistic, relationship between the two. But please, I beg of you writers, let us not have this be a pairing that remains in a constant state of flux for the entire duration of the series. Four seasons of uncertainty is by far enough, any more and I think fans will grow weary. We need another kissing-in-rain-in-the-doorway-of-Central-Perk scene, pronto!
