5 Reasons NBC's Dracula Should Have A Second Season
3. Lucy Westenra Vampire Lesbian?
The epic hoe-bag that Lucy (Katie McGrath) has become is definitely something worth making a second season for. Lucy is full to the brim with sexual energy, and I don't think she knows who she loves anymore. At first it was Mina, but she was seduced and manipulated by Lady Jayne Wetherby and then bonks Jonathan. It's hard to keep up with her conquests. Obviously the biggest deal about Lucy is that she's now a vampire and murdered her own mother, so what on earth is she going to do now? Maybe her love for Mina might make her hate Dracula and start a giant problem, or maybe she'll try and turn Mina? Either way, it's a second series goldmine of opportunity and it would be a shame to let that go to waste. Lucy is quite a pivotal character in the book and so it's reasonable to think that this new over-sexualised, lesbian platinum vampire might be a huge audience puller. Let us all hope that the writers are mulling this over.
