5 Reasons You Should Be Watching Hello Ladies

2. It Has Heart

Hello Ladies Hot Tub You know already where this is going. Like the Tim and Dawn relationship in The Office, the missed opportunity that comes at the end of almost every episode between Stuart and his tenant Christine becomes blazingly apparent as early as the first scene between the pair. With some hope, their blinkered view of women and men around them will widen and they will find each other by the end of it all. Then there is the loneliness aspect of it all. When the laughter has finished and the cringe-inducing nature has slowed down, you sometimes get these oddly touching moments that really strike home about the character of Stuart. One in particular involved Kives (the wheelchair bound guy he doesn't even like but who is clearly his friend) and Wade (his close, often neglected best friend), who, having been left alone in Stuart's house, decide to go through his computer and find he has a hopes and dreams list. Thinking at first that it is nothing but funny, they soon find out that his dreams are actually quite tragic, and the constant fear of dying alone is what drives Stuart in his quest to find a girl. There are many moments that tug on the heartstrings, but with a man responsible for breaking it a few times before behind the camera coupled with the strength of the writing, it really doesn't come as much of a surprise that he is setting us up to do it all over again with Stuart and company.
