5 Reasons Why Jersey Shore Should've Quit Sooner

1. Frankly, Ladies and Gentlemen, Guidos and Guidettes, We€™d Seen Enough!

Jersey.Shore.Season.3.Cast.Wallpaper.jersey.shore.24353695.1600.1200 At the end of the day, Jersey Shore, for me, was easily one of the best reality shows to hit our screens and will be remember fondly, and laughed over, for years to come. However, all good times must end and sometimes people don€™t know when to just give up the ghost. Sadly, Season Five and Six of Jersey Shore was wholly unnecessary, boring and completely contrived to the point where the cast had successful completely their assimilation to self-parody. Straight from the first episode we knew what they were going to do; fight, €˜smush€™, say €˜GTL€™ every five minutes, get wasted etc. etc. etc. I really believe Jersey€™s Shore final nail in the coffin was not allowing their €˜fame€™ to be acknowledge and in trying to, rigidly, stay faithful to the original premise. However, the fact is that no successful tv show, reality or otherwise, ever ends exactly as it first was. TV producers need to realise as its audience matures, and new viewers tune it, there has to be some changes. They could've still been at the Shore, obviously, but let us see them adjust to their new lives as celebrities, or even brought in new 'student' guidos who the veterans could take under their wings. Really, on a show like Jersey Shore, it was naïve to think that its techno-savvy fans would stay enthralled by the club-kids-at-the-Shore plotline for six long seasons. What did you make of the Shore? Did you think it should've been renewed or had it run its course?
