5 Reasons Why Jersey Shore Should've Quit Sooner

2. Age Concerns: No Longer 18€“30, guys!

Okay maybe this is a bit of culture difference (as I am a Brit) but it starts to look a bit sad when those over 30 are still partying like they did at 21. Like I say I don€™t know if this is quite such a big deal in America. They can€™t even drink still they€™re 21, I know (that€™s not to say they don€™t) but by that age over hear, most kids have been drinking since about 15/16 and clubbing since 18, so by the time you€™re in your late twenties you have usually got a bit bored of going on crazy nights out. Take Geordie Shore, as a comparison, when it began the oldest housemate was 26 and the youngest was 18, whereas with Jersey Shore Pauly was already 29 in Season One and Snooki and Vinny were the hous babies are 21. I find it quite hard to believe, even Americans, partying with people eight years your senior, for a start, but by the later seasons of Jersey Shore, the older ones are starting to look a bit past it. I€™m not saying you have to stay indoors and start watching Monarch of the Glen after 30, but €˜the Shore€™ seems almost exclusively a €˜college-age€™ crowd. Kind of like the American version of Magaluf.
