1. There Can Only Be Two

"One Master and one apprentice; one to embody the power, the other to crave it." The rule of two, the Sith code which Darth Sidious's line of deceased Sith Lords adhered too, in hopes that through patience and cunning, they assert control of the galaxy and destroy the Jedi Order. Currently in the Clone Wars, chaos has began to disrupt Darth Sidious's plan, Asajj Ventress escaping when Sidious sentenced her to death, Count Dooku's lack of control of the war and the rising threat of his former apprentice Darth Maul. I was shocked when it was revealed that Darth Sidious was taking the fate of his former apprentice into his own hands, showing just how much of a danger he considers Maul. He could have just sent Dooku, that way he wouldn't have to risk his identity being exposed, but it wouldn't have provided the same gut punch that the true Sith Lord could deliver. Having a deep history with Maul, raising him as year old infant, to the monster he is today, it seems only right he'd be the one to stop his apprentice. It would seem Maul and Savage's rise will be stopped by Sidious, but unlikely either Maul or Savage will meet their untimely deaths. One thing is certain, Sidious will make the consequences of endangering the thousand year old plan be felt as he coldly states "Remember there can only be two, and you are no longer my apprentice."
