5 Star Trek Actors Who Are NOT Returning For Picard Season 3

1. Orla Brady?

Star Trek Picard Laris
CBS

A big question mark hangs over the character of Laris, and Orla Brady's fate as Star Trek: Picard returns for its third season. She was upgraded from guest star to recurring status between the first and second seasons. Though audiences spent more time with Talinn than they did with Laris in season two, Brady left her mark on the show.

The finale of Picard sets up Jean-Luc and Laris as the couple the audience never knew they needed. Their relationship, teased in the first episode of the season, was enough to get fans' juices going, so leaving the story without either a resolution or more depiction, would be a crime at this point.

There are rumours aplenty about Brady's status when it comes to season three - that she isn't returning at all, or that she is and is only getting a small role - but as of the writing of this article, they remain rumour. It is with extreme hope that this writer is putting the message out into the universe - bring back Brady, bring back Laris, and give their characters the happy ending that they deserve!
