5 TV Comedies You Really Should Have Watched

2. Stella

If you haven€™t seen Wet Hot American Summer, I highly suggest you check it out. The writing style of David Wain is unmistakable. Watch Stella, WHAS, watch Wanderlust, there is that definitive style that comes with a comedy featuring David Wain, Michael Showalter, & Michael Ian Black. I first saw these three as newscasters in Wanderlust. I loved that movie! I have re-watched that movie about fifty times. After I saw their performances and saw that Wain wrote it, I knew I had to have more. That€™s when I saw Wet Hot American Summer. The movie is one of the funniest movies you will see, I guarantee it. I saw that these three men had a TV show at one point and I decided to but the entire series on DVD, before ever watching a single episode. I was that confident that these three men would deliver, and they did! Stella is a comedy like no other comedy. The jokes can be weird, (actually seeing Black€™s dance double, the three men asking the America what they think, etc.) and they roll out the guest stars that are featured in most of their projects: Paul Rudd, Ken Marino, Joe Lo Truglio, & Janeane Garofalo. If you don€™t want to buy the DVD, try to find the gag reel/deleted scenes online. Showalter delivery on the €œThis goose€.only cooks in broth.€ line is to die for.
