5 TV Romances We Just Couldn't Understand (& 5 We Completely Bought)

The Mindy Project was criminally underrated which is odd seen as it had some of the funniest characters ever written (looking at you Morgan Tookers).

What most people don't realize is that The Mindy Project wasn't just a comedy show, it was an unapologetic dig at the TV shows that were on at the time and still are. Mindy wasn't your average leading lady and Danny wasn't your average leading man. They were both awful, selfish, and overbearing individuals but they were also very well written and emotionally developed. Plus, they were really amusing.

The best thing about the show was that we all knew Mindy and Danny would get together and then when they did we all knew they would break up. Then when they broke up, we all knew they would get back together again, because of course, they would, they were made for each other!

Although we already knew, it didn't stop us from enjoying the progression of the two characters. This is why the show worked so well. We knew they would end up together so it was fun to watch them explore other outlets without shouting at the television for them to reunite.
